Antique Victorian buckles featuring beautiful paste glass stones set in sterling silver. This pair of buckles are from the turn of the 19th century, they would have been worn on silk shoes as a form of jewellery. The buckles are sold in the original pair. The paste gemstones are transparent flint glass that simulates diamonds. The glass is polished and faceted to reflect the light.
The buckles are not only beautiful but they would be worn on chains or alternatively used to create a beautiful belt (As shown in the pictures).

The buckles measure 4.7cm / 1.8" in length and 3.7cm / 1.4" in height.
