This ascending dragon expresses a bold lively character of colour and movement.

A rendition more typical of dragons found on heavy silk brocades of China’s past. Designed more abstract in detail to accommodate the weaving and embroidery patterning and thread colour.

Top right is calligraphed the word druk in Tibetan, meaning dragon or more literally thunder, alluring to the powerful elemental quality of the mythological dragon.
